Trials & Errors, Practice Makes Earrings

Today I was playing with my copper wire and came up with a nice little link.  I thought it might work well incorporated into one of my handmade chains, but somedays best intentions turn out to be earrings!

You can see below my practice copper links some are strange shapes, some are long, some are fat.  It takes a while to work the kinks out.  Then onto the silver wire and the wire started breaking.. ack!!  Time to put my lofty goal of a nice long chain aside for today and make earrings.   I came up with two nice pairs, (below) sterling silver with bamboo coral and emerald faceted rondelles (not shown).
