Peridot is the perfect colour for August after a long hot July with very little rain. We're finally having a rainy day and it is gorgeous to feel the cooler air and hear the sound of the leaves being pelted with drops. Time to celebrate peridot, everything green and the August birthdays, happy birthday Nanny & Grandpa and most of my lovely nieces.
I've been making lots and lots of links, with the idea of making a nice long chain with little rondelles of faceted emeralds in between each hammered link. That's the idea anyway so far the wire is behaving and not breaking. Still haven't figured out why that wire was breaking with every bend. Mysteries, gotta love them!
