How to Steal like an Artist

I was perusing the web, wandering about YouTube and came across this excellent lecture on the artistic process by Austin Kleon.  Be like Picasso and rob your inspirational mentors blind!  I don't particularly mean that you should copy Picasso with a photocopier and then call it your own.  But by all means take something that inspires you, and mull it around and play with it and make it your own.
