Copper Bird Brooch - Step by Step

I have started a new project and thought you might like to see the method to my madness that is jewellery making. I’ve started with a concept sketch. It looks a little messy, but it mostly lays out what I think I might have in mind. I’m usually open to happy accidents when working with the wire. Then wind off a nice piece of wire and start bending and playing with it, until I have something I’m relatively happy with.
