Celtic Style Torque

I created this 14k gold filled neck piece for my father’s dear friend.  This was my first time working with such an extremely soft wire.  I first created this piece with brass craft wire a few years ago.  Working with the brass craft wire required some major muscle power, needless to say the change from the brass to the very soft gold filled wire necessitated a technique rethink and a very light touch. Final result is rather pretty.
